SciLactis Ltd is an independent consulting and contract research company providing strategy and R&D support to companies in the agritech and value-added food sectors, both nationally and internationally. We are located in the vibrant Waikato Innovation Park in Hamilton, in New Zealand’s dairy heartland. We bring extensive national and international experience in the agricultural and value-added food space, in particular relating to dairy production, science and research on both sides of the farm-gate. Key areas in which we have particular expertise are:

1. Infant and other formula, milk & colostrum composition, milk-derived bioactives as value-added food ingredients.
2. Dairy production systems, mammary & lactation biology, biotechnology, milking management, dairy cow nutrition, mastitis.
3. Science, research, science & research management - including science research programme reviews for universities, National funding bodies (New Zealand, Germany, Canada, Denmark, Greece) and European funding bodies (Horizon Europe, Eurostars).
